  • You sure can! We know that restaurants want to serve local where they can, but the logistics can be tricky. The Food Hub provides a platform to make bigger orders with multiple producers.

More information is on our commercial customers page and you sign up on our online ordering platform just like a regular customer.

  • Our goal is to offer a wide range of local products including fruits and vegetables, meats, and fish, as well as locally processed products like breads, jams, and honey. We expect that the number and variety of products offered will grow throughout the season.

To see what we have available this week, visit our ordering platform’s products page.

  • Each producer sets their own price for their products. Prices are typically similar to regular community farmer’s markets.

  • Yes! This is the key advantage of using the Western NL Food Hub. The Food Hub does the work by gathering products from producers in our community every week based on what customers order. Once we sort individual orders, customers have a one-stop pickup at 17 Herald Avenue in Corner Brook. We aim to bring local producers and customers together by creating an easy way to buy local.

  • Yes! Home delivery is available every Thursday for customers in Corner Brook and Pasadena. Delivery fees are $8 for Corner Brook and $25 for Pasadena.

  • For a full list of our current pickup options, visit: nlfoodhub.ca/customers/#pickup

We are working to add more pickup locations. If you have a suggestion or want to get involved, please contact us!

  • We have resources in place to support operations through 2023 and 2024 for sure. Producers can plan on having the Food Hub available to them in those years and adjust their plans to match. Beyond 2024 it will depend on how the business model is working as we scale up, and we’ll be sharing lots of communication about that and looking for feedback along the way.
